Positions Currently Available:

Cognos Developer
(Impromptu, PowerPlay, Enterprise Server, Decision Stream, ReportNet) – Intermediate skills or above
Candidate responsibilities include:
Hands on data analysis, modeling and construction of processes and database structures to solve business requirements and needs. Serving as technical lead/resource on data analysis and reporting projects

Data Warehouse Developer
In this role, you'll be the primary administrator and specialist for product data warehouses, as well as a member of the operational support team for operational databases. You'll be maintaining data integrity and security for all warehouses and databases while assuring acceptable performance of the data warehouse and database.
Job Requirements To qualify for consideration for this position, you must meet or exceed the following:
  1. A 4-year degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is required. A Masters' degree a plus.
  2. 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (2000 and higher) and/or Oracle, of which at least 3 years are spent in Data Warehousing efforts.
  3. Demonstrated experience with all of the following required: Transact-SQL, data modeling, data transfer packages, log shipping, data warehousing, ETL, Analysis Services, data cube design, generation and maintenance.
  4. Experience as a database administrator including on-call duties required
  5. Experience with tuning query performance, examining execution plans, using Profiler traces and other performance diagnostic tools
  6. Experience with the following preferred: transactional replication, Notification Services, Analysis Services, Clustering, Reporting Services

Web Developer
(Sharepoint, Content Management Tools, PDA software development, .Net, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase)
  1. 2+ years experience in each
  2. C# and Visual Studio
  3. ASP.NET
  4. XML -Web Services
  5. SQL Server (including stored procedures) -JavaScript
  6. HTML and CSS

Video Conferencing
Responsible for supporting audio, video and web collaboration technologies.
  1. May be required to remotely access systems to perform conference scheduling verification, system monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance processes.
  2. Work directly with customers to assist in conference setup and equipment including setup of projectors, screens and computer equipment as needed.
  3. Communicate problems and problem resolution plans with appropriate management team and superiors.

Network Administration
Micah Systems is looking for a Windows Network Administrator for a contract to hire position for one of our clients
Job Requirements To qualify for consideration for this position, you must meet or exceed the following:
  1. Insure continuous operation of various file, print, database and application servers.
  2. Install, configure, and troubleshoot network servers and performs various administrative functions including support of the servers, hardware and operating systems.
  3. Provide performance monitoring, backup and control of the server environment.
  4. Provide for the security needs of the managed servers.
  5. Participate in project groups as required. Participate in disaster recovery testing.
